Ethic

The essence of Motorcycle Racing goes well beyond a rider challenging their rivals and their own limits: it's also embedded with values that define its identity. This accounts for the fact that the most epic and hard-fought challenges often end in a handshake or hug, a demonstration of the sincere gentlemanly respect amongst riders.
FIM feels a great sense of responsibility when it comes to sports education, not just for the growth of this sport, but for society as a whole. Whether it's a motorcycle for racing or leisure, two wheels are an extraordinary uniting force, bringing together different cultures and different generations.
This spirit is echoed in the FIM Code of Ethics, which informs the actions of each member of this big motorcycling family. Programmes like Antidoping, for example, attest to FIM's real-world commitment to fairness and transparency in racing.
In Motorcycle Racing, ethics and respect are a constant, from start to finish.
